The pharmacist at the corner of the drugstore’s entrance in Seattle is a long-time fixture.
But it’s the day before Christmas that marks the end of a decade-long run at the pharmacy, and he’s tired of it.
The shelves have emptied.
A couple of the shelves are gone, too.
And with the pharmacy on the verge of closing, he has no one else to fill the void.
With Christmas coming, I decided to make my own copy of a pharmacy in Seattle, which I could rent for $400.
I’m not alone.
Nearly 20% of the US population does not have access to an accessible pharmacy, according to the American Pharmacists Association, and it’s estimated that over one million Americans rely on this kind of pharmacy at any given time.
In order to make the leap, I needed to hire a copywriter, a pharmacist, and a full-time pharmacist.
It took months of research, negotiation, and ultimately a lot of trial and error.
Here’s how I went about it.
How do I make my copycat pharmacy more accessible?
If you’re an ordinary customer, you’re probably already familiar with pharmacy access, which can be a hassle to navigate if you’re not familiar with the rules.
To make your copycat a little more accessible, you’ll need to follow a few basic steps.
The first thing I did was create an API to make it easier for me to sell products online.
This process is fairly simple, and you can learn more about it here.
Once I had my API up and running, I created a template for my pharmacy’s sign-up page, using my own images, as well as screenshots from the store’s online pharmacy.
The site was then loaded with the exact same information that was used to sell the original product: the pharmacist’s name, phone number, and email address.
This way, when you log in to the pharmacy’s website, you can use your name, email address, and pharmacist name in order to sell your product.
It’s important to note that you don’t need to have the same name or email address for every transaction, as long as you’re registered to sell at the same pharmacy.
When you’re ready to sign up, you need to choose a name for your pharmacy.
I chose a pharmacy that had a nice name, and that I liked.
The pharmacist’s name and email would be helpful, too, if you didn’t want to share a name or a pharmacy address with others.
I wanted the pharmacy to have a lot more inventory than the original, so I went with a lot larger stock.
I also wanted the store to have an emphasis on new and limited-edition items.
I wanted the shop to have more products, not fewer.
This is where the copycat step comes in.
If you’ve already used a pharmacy to sell something online, you might have some experience in making copycat purchases.
But if you don, you won’t have much of a template.
You need to create a form that will allow you to enter a pharmacy name and address.
I made this form using the Amazon Dashboard, which is a free and open source tool that lets you create your own forms.
Once you’ve created the form, you have to enter the pharmacian’s name (in the format “Dr. A”, if you prefer), your email address (in case you want to make a public listing), and the name of the product you’re looking to sell (in this case, the pharmacy name).
If you want, you could also enter your payment information, as a form of privacy protection.

Next, you’ve got to fill out your application, which you can see here.
I filled out the form with the information I’d need in order for me as a pharmacost, and I filled it out by hand.
The final step of the process is to sign-in with your account.
You don’t have to fill it out yourself, but you need the pharmaceutician’s email and password to sign in.
I found this to be pretty easy to remember, as I was using the same email and the same password for both.
Once you’ve signed in, you are greeted by a pop-up that says “You’re here!”
It’s as simple as that.
You are logged in, and your pharmacist has your payment details.
You can then go to your shopping cart to make payments.
I’ve opted to purchase some stock from a drugstore, so the payment is being made by Amazon.
If that’s all you need, you just need to fill in your payment info and hit “Payment.”
